20th Symposium on “Phytochemistry and Ayurveda: Potential and Prospects” was held along with the release of Vol. II No. 31, December, 2021 issue of the Journal, UJPAH on December 18, 2021 at 1-Inder Road, Dehradun, UK. India.
Faculty members, research scholars of the universities and colleges in large number attended the aforesaid event.

The discussion related to the following topics
I. Natural products development in Nano era.
II. New approaches for understanding pharmacology and clinical efficacy of medicinal plants.
III. Newer Scientific approaches to Ayurvedic Research and manufacturing techniques.
IV. Scientific advances in Ayurveda vis a vis modern pharma.
V. Advanced applications of Microbiology in Ayurveda.

A Seminar on “Herbal Research : Opportunities, Challenges and Beyond” was organized by the Phytochemistry and Ayurveda Society on June. A large number of research scholars from various institutes participated in the said event.

The objective of organizing Symposium and Seminar is to promote and document research on herbal medicines and traditional system of medicines, a promising area for exploitation.
